Overwatch Anniversary Event Returns Next Week

Blizzard has announced its annual anniversary event celebrating Overwatch’s initial May 2016 release is coming back for another year.

The event is right around the corner, starting on May 21. Blizzard has made no other official announcements regarding the event.

In past years, the event has offered the chance for players to earn skins from other events, new skins, and additional game modes. The teaser for the event shows logos from other Overwatch events, which likely means that at least one of those features will return this time around.
